October 2022 has been a very busy month for us. We've released our biggest update so far, with many significant changes including pricing changes, international shipping, multiple currencies and SEO boost feature. We're eager to share all of our latest changes with you.
International shipping
We now give the possibility to customers around the world to purchase on The Good Boutique. Depending on your e-commerce platform, you will see a newly added block allowing to specify what countries you are currently shipping to.

We've now enabled shipping and display our products in the following countries/regions:
- United Kingdom
- EU/EEA
- United States
- Canada
- Mexico
- Australia
- New Zealand
Configuration for WooCommerce brands
There is no need to specify the shipping countries, we read these values from the shipping locations you have set up in your WooCommerce store.

Multiple currencies
Another major change we've gone through is the incorporation of multiple currencies. All products now have three currencies enabled:
- GBP
- EUR
- USD
Videos in product page
Shopping habits are changing. Customers are looking for more and more interactive content. This is why we've decided to incorporate demo videos inside the product page. We support the following video formats:
- Instagram Reels
- Youtube
- Vimeo
- TikTok

Additional filtering options
In addition to the previous filters, customers can now filter on the following attributes:
- Colour
- Size
- Age group
- Brand
- Category

Improved search engine
We've improved our search engine algorithm to take into account complex searches such as "Blue Socks" or gender-related searches. This significantly improved conversions.

Improved analytics and insights (Growth Plan only)
We significantly improved the analytics and insights on each of your product. Our algorithm will let you know your best performing products and a few improvement needed in terms of SEO, copy and pricing.

Boost individual products
Since the 1st of November 2022, you are now able to promote individual products thanks to our "Boost" feature. All you need to do is to select one of your products, the date range in which you would like to promote the product, and complete the payment.
You product will be featured on thegoodboutique.com homepage and the shop main page under the section "Product of the week". The pricing is currently at £89 per week of promotion.
You can now promote individual products to encourage sales.
Pricing changes & reduced commissions
Our goal is to focus our marketing efforts and resources on paid merchants. This is why we removed the free plan altogether as we believe our added-value has been proven for our paid merchants. We are also reducing the commissions on all plans as following:
New prices and commissions
Standard Plan
- The Premium Plan is now called the Standard Plan.
- The Standard Plan is now priced at £49/month (excl. VAT).
- The commission is now reduced from 15% to 12%.
- Introduction of a yearly price at £490/year (excl.VAT) - save £98 per year by switching to the yearly plan.
- 14-day free trial included for new merchants.
Growth Plan
- The Growth Plan's monthly price remains unchanged at £89/month (excl. VAT).
- The commission is now reduced from 12% to 10% for yearly plans only.
- Introduction of a yearly price at £890/year (excl. VAT) - save £178 per year by switching to the yearly plan.

Our goal is to have you with us on the long term, without hurting your margins. This is why we've decided to reduce the commission for all plans to encourage you to switch to the plan that suits you best.
Subscription management
You can now manage your subscription from your seller portal. You are now able to do the following:
- Update your current plan (downgrade, upgrade or cancel)
- Update your billing details (VAT, address, etc.)
- Update your payment details
- Pay any outstanding balance
- Export invoices
